Surfrider members, students, outdoor industry leaders, and ambassadors from around the country will travel to Washington D.C. on March 8, 2023 to meet with our nation’s federal leaders and urge them to protect our coasts and ocean.
In 2023 our grassroots coalition will meet directly with more than 100 Congressional leaders and the White House to discuss Surfrider's priorities. Together we will demand federal efforts to take climate action, protect clean water, and eliminate plastic pollution – all while urging elected officials to stand up for our coasts. Over 6 years of hosting Coastal Recreation Hill Day, Surfrider has engaged more than 700 local activists from 26 states and territories across the country.
Our goal is to elevate the voice of the coastal recreation communityand inspire stronger federal leadership on these critical issues.
